Hi Everyone,

We are conducting a study to understand the challenges children and young people face in bereavement and identify the perceptions of bereavement support needs for children and young people in schools and homes. We are interested in the views of parents and teachers who have experience of supporting a child or young person who has experienced bereavement. You need to be 18 years or older to take part in the study. The study is being conducted by a MSc student (Aoife Duffy) at the School of Psychology, Queen’s University, Belfast under the supervision of Dr Pauline Adair (email: p.adair@qub.ac.uk)

If you meet the criteria and are interested in taking part, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire which takes about 10 minutes. Questions will be asked about your experience of supporting a child or young person who has been bereaved including the challenges that you perceive exist to providing this support in schools.

If you would like to take part, then please click on the link below which will take you to the study. You will be firstly directed to read an information sheet and complete a consent form before answering the questions. Please press the submit button after completion to ensure all data can be collected. Thank you.
