Its a nanny your hiring, your employee, normally less hours higher the rate per hour. Revenue are very helpful in the procedure. Do check references along with garda vetting, experience, qualifications and 100% first aid in date.

-----------------------------------
Hi All,
I am interviewing next week for a child minder in my own home and what should I pay for 9am to 2pm with an 18 month old and collection (walking) of 3 year old from montessori at 12pm. 3 days per week.
TIA
I spoke with a friend who suggested €5 per hour per child which would be
€25 per day for the 18 month old and €10 per day for my 3 yo?
Total €105 for the 3 days.
How does this sound?
No car needed.
All advise gratefully accepted

Ok thank you. So a childminder in their own home can receive a lower rate and be self employed?
Makes sense alright. Thanks

Once it is within your home legally it is minimum wage, you also have to register as their employer . . . Pay holidays etc. (This is a nanny x)
The €5 per hour is for a childminder . . . Which is in the childminders own home x
