re : HOW MUCH SHOULD I PAY FOR CHILD CARE 25/08/2013 17:09 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay ----------------------------------- If in minder home, €5 for first child, €3/2 for second, depending on childminder. add up the hours and multiply by the hourly rate. consider also if you pay for bank hols, holidays, days off etc, it all made a difference to the bottom line you pay. Sometimes an agreement can be reached between you and the childminder. I myself work on a daily rate rather than a weekly rate but its all the same thing really. I dont charge for bank hols or days Im off myself but I do charge for days child/ren sick/take a day off as Im still available to work. Having a clear contact between you and your childminder will avoid any misunderstanding in the future.
