We are looking for a nanny to work weekday mornings (approx. 8am to 1pm), Monday to Friday (approx. 25 hours per week). The position is from January, at which stage our son will be 1 year old.
We are based beside Ashtown train station close to both the Pheonix park, the Royal canal and playgrounds with good access to public transport (bus – 37, 38, 39, 70, 120; rail – Maynooth/Connolly and M3 Parkway/Docklands; and 1/2 hour walk to the new Luas cross city).
The ideal candidate will have appropriate childcare qualifications and 3+ years experience working with children of a similar age. We are taking a mindful/gentle parenting approach and we are looking for someone with a similar attitude to childcare.
It is expected that the candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our child with age appropriate activities, while meeting his social, emotional and physical needs.
Other duties will include preparing and cooking healthy meals (we are taking a baby led weaning approach) and keeping the child’s play area tidy.
Other requirements are: • Infant/child first aid training completed • Garda vetting (and similar for any other countries where you have lived) • References • Eligibility to work in Ireland • Non-smoker
