This is an excellent endeavour by the department and should be part of the remit of every school. Educate Together Schools seem to be taking the main initiative of positive psychology interventions which is the newest branch of psychology and encompasses initiatives for developing and improving well-being.

I am a final year DCU student undertaking my dissertation on the importance of mental wellbeing promotion in primary school settings. My aim is to encourage like-minded primary teachers to discuss the techniques and activities being used to promote mental wellbeing in the classroom. By sharing your experiences and ideas, other teachers may be encouraged to do the same.

Your participation in this forum would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
