Is it for a boy or a girl?

There is the new mixed school in Rochestown (Scoil Phadraig). The relatively new and very large mixed school in Frankfield (Scoil Nioclas). Then there is St. Columba´s Douglas Boys School as well as St. Anthony´s in Ballinlough. If you want to go a little closer to town there is Turners Cross. After that you have the option of the Gaelscoil in Douglas, which is also mixed.
Perhaps you should make appointments to visit some of the schools you would consider and go from there. Most of these schools would have good reputations. There are several other very good schools in Cork if you want to travel a little further. Much depends on whether you will get a place. What year is it for, 2009, 2010?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on primary schools (junior infants) in the Douglas/ Rochestown area of Cork. I am moving to the area and I have no idea of what schools have a good reputation.
