Our Action Group has been working towards the opening of an Educate Together secondary school in Drogheda for over two years. Parents of nearly 700 children have indicated that they would consider sending their children to such a school. The Action Group feel it´s very important to consult widely, to ensure that parents have the information they need to help them make choices about second-level education, and to engage with the wider community about this proposed school.

We are hosting an information evening, on Tuesday, 12th April, at the Boyne Valley Hotel, at 8pm and we would like to invite you to join us.

The meeting will outline the campaign progress to date and will provide further information to anyone who is interested in Drogheda’s new secondary school. Speakers from the Educate Together national office will attend to outline the details of the curriculum, education policy and Educate Together ethos, and answer any questions that might arise. There will be information on how students’ needs are central to all management and educational decisions, and the parental participation that is so important to and within Educate Together.

We hope you can be there. Please RSVP to
