Hi,
If you have somebody come to your home, you must register with revenue as an employer, pay at least min wage per hour and pay your minders tax. If the children to to the minders house they should be registered as self employed and pay their own tax. It should work out cheaper to send them to somebody. It depends on what hours, if food and snack is included. Daily rate for one child is roughly about €40 a day, there should be discount on second child.
Hope this helps.
