Sometimes you´ll get a day rate of €40 per day but only if it´s 5 days a week. If someone wanted me to mind their child one/two days per week but it was 10 hour day, I´d charge by the hour.

It´s cheaper out the country. It depends on demand in the area. As a self employed childminder in my own home minimum wage law doesn´t apply to us.
