Hi just question when only minding 1 child full time 8am-5pm when schools are on what way to minders charge when schools are on holiday as the minder is not needed. Thanks

If your the parent look for a term time rate (some may charge a higher rate per hr/day building in holiday pay).
If you are childminder can you afford/does it suit you offer term time only rates. Very few, if any teachers/term time working only parents want to pay anything other than term time. Be careful of those asking for a weekly rate based on 50/52 weeks of the year. There have been cases of minders being let go just before the summer.
