anyone else have daughter here in 1st year?
school sports cancelled... heating turned down in classrooms...if a parent dares to question anything it´s taken out on the child! what exactly has this school going for it?
is it a problem to switch schools after 1st year? also what is the best "all round "school in dublin 9...
advice please!

If your adamant you want a move, in D9 I guess the best other school for girls is Maryfield College just down from Dominicans. But thats it really, the only other school (girls) near it (but still a bit away) is Manor House school for girls in Raheny (D5) if you know where St Pauls Boys school it is near it. That is excellant (academically speaking).
My nieces who go to Dominicans as well as my friends children are all disappointed and concerned about the sports activities. Its one of the main attractions of the school. I´ll not be sending my girls there if there is no sport worth considering.
