half day pay? 26/07/2013 12:35 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay (Locality: Galway) ----------------------------------- hi all, just gave a quote to a parent of 120 euro for a week where i would be collecting their child from school at 1 and minding till 4 or half 4 ie 20euro per half day plus 20euro for lunch and petrol costs for the week, how does this sound???? btw i am a fully qualified chilminder with lots of experience.....

re... : half day pay? 26/07/2013 17:37 - How Much Should I Charge or Pay ----------------------------------- it will be in my home ....if it was in the childs home it would cost the parents more as i would be an employee of the parent and employment legislation would apply ie the absolute least i could be paid would be minimum wage ( I am fully qualified with years experience) and i would be entitled to holiday pay/ maternity leave etc then the parent would be paying food and petrol costs as well. I will be helping with homework, providing a home cooked meal, doing playdoh/jigsaws/make and do.......
