Second Hand School Uniforms

Schooldays.ie provides a free facility to private individuals allowing you to advertise that you are selling (or giving away) second-hand uniforms. You can also use the facility to advertise that you are trying to source a second-hand uniform for a particular school.

Advertisements re second-hand school uniforms should not be posted in the general Discussion Threads as they will be deleted. They should be posted on the individual school's page on our site as this is where other parents from the school are most likely to see your advertisement.

To post the advertisement you need to:

Firstly register on the schooldays.ie website which is free.

Once you are registered, locate the Parents Network for your school by clicking on the links for
'Finding a Primary School' or 'Finding a Secondary School' and locate your school - click into your school page link and you should arrive on a page which looks like this

When on your school page, click on the link (only visible when logged in) to 'create a new thread' - the link is towards the bottom of the page

which will bring you to a page which you can insert your advertisement

Enter a short title eg St Andrews 4th class uniform for sale
Under category click on the drop down arrow and choose 'Second Hand'
Type in your descriptive text in the next box and then click on save

Your advertisement will automatically appear on the individual schools page on our site. People interested in your advert will either contact you by responding on our site or by sending you a PM (private message) by clicking on the PM link which will appear beside your advert. Whether they reply online or send you a private message, you will receive an automated email from Schooldays.ie letting you know. If you receive an email saying you have a private message, you can view these by logging in on our home page and clicking on the 'My PM's' link just above the blue pencil.
