| The Heritage in Schools scheme makes available to primary schools a panel of 165 heritage specialists who will, at the request of a teacher, visit a primary school to work directly with the children. You can search for a specialist by their county and their area of interest. The Conradh na Gaeilge Road Show is an interactive Irish language workshop which visits more than 150 schools in all 32 counties every year. Through debate, discussion and games, the workshop aims to encourage and empower students to use their Irish more often outside school. We want to inform students about the advantages and opportunities the Irish language can provide them, about the growth of the language and about the various language campaigns going on around the country. The workshop is aimed at TY students but can also be booked for 5th and 6th year students. Each workshop lasts for 80 minutes, with a cost of €100 for one session and €150 for two. |Forensic Science Roadshow - A Case Of Conspiracy? |
Our workshops bring classroom science to life by allowing students to take on the role of the Forensic Scientist and learn how Chemistry, Physics and Biology are used in the real world. They are designed for groups of 60 students at a time and are aimed at ages 11 to 16 years. We tour every County and have done so since 2006, visiting over 240 different Irish Schools. During our interactive workshops students will examine evidence, conduct an investigation and interpret the forensic results to solve a realistic crime. This case also explores the dangers of getting involved with recreation drugs.

The facilitator, Jack Flash, has over 20 years experience as a juggler and a Dublin based magician. Jack has performed at The White House, Leinster House, and across the globe.
