- Following on from the enormous contribution from schools in the previous SHADES campaigns, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is pleased to introduce a new aspect to Shades 2008 – The SHADES School Initiative.
- Sell SHADES pins €2
- Hold a FUN event – cake sale, running race, etc………
- Wear SHADES into school & donate money
- Game day/Night – Invite friends along to play & ask them to donate
- Sponsored dog/Pet walk – all participating €2
- Dress Down day
Are you creative, do you think you & your classmates, school or friends can come up with a novel, fun way to FUNdraise for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind during their National SHADES fundraising week? If so, why not take part & simply register for the SHADES Campaign 2008.
Each school that registers to take part and fundraise will automatically be entered into a competition. Winning schools will be chosen for the most innovative fundraising event and will receive a Sunderland jersey signed by Roy Keane and donated by Specsavers, sponsors of SHADES 2008.
