The Olympian Gymnastics Club

OLYMPIAN GYMNASTICS CLUB has been teaching gymnastics to all levels and abilities in a safe and fun environment for 50 years. Our goal is to have all our gymnasts leave their classes with a big smile on their face and a sense of achievement.

CLUBS

We offer a range of classes across various venues in South County Dublin and now in Co. Cavan. Our six Club Venues start from ages 3.5 in our Gym Tots Program, all the way up to Teenagers in our Advanced Recreational classes.

The program is developed especially to keep the gymnasts active and to build their fundamental motoring skills and social skills. It is achieved through play and exciting circuits, and by using 4 different apparatus: Bar, Beam, Floor and Vault to develop their gymnastics skills. This program also forms the important foundations for the gymnasts to progress through the sport.

AFTER SCHOOL

In our After School programs we focus on recreational gymnastics, which ensures that our students are gaining salutary benefits, both physically and mentally.

It introduces students to the sport of gymnastics through games and movement based exercises.
Some highlights throughout the year are our Team League Challenges, Proficiency Awards and Routine Demonstration Day.

IN-SCHOOL

Our In-School program provides a great introduction to gymnastics for all primary school classes. The programs are intended to be energetic, enjoyable, and safe. They are designed to facilitate the students’ need for both physical and mental fitness.

Lesson plans are provided to all participating schools which can aid in following the steady progression of skills. At the end of the program, each student will receive a certificate of completion.

CAMPS

We host a number of gymnastics camps at different venues throughout the year during Easter, Summer and Halloween.

The camps focus on developing gymnastics skills over the course of the week. They begin with a warm-up and conditioning to prepare the gymnasts for the day ahead and they also have two break-times between the various gymnastics rotations.

Our trained coaches work closely with their gymnasts to help them work intensively on skills from our different apparatus: Floor, Beam, Bars and Vault. We also introduce Trampette, Air-Track, and Acrobatics to teach them different elements of gymnastics training.
