This Lear is set in a nation born out of civil war, and raised in the hothouse of the bitter northern conflict, now the gangsters have taken over – and we watched them do it.

Boy with a Suitcase

Boy with a Suitcase is the story of a 12 year old war refugee, who undertakes a long journey to find asylum in another country. He carries with him only a suitcase, containing few belongings, and the many stories his family has told him throughout his childhood. A gritty tale of our time, this is cutting-edge theatre for young audiences. Naz’s journey throws a spotlight on the real dangers faced by children in other parts of the world, beyond the relative security of life in Ireland. Suitable for children 8-12 years.
