Tain Festival
As part of a 5 day halloween festival Storybear is coming to the Louth County Museum on Sunday the 28th of October. Storybear loves stories, and helps puppeteer Niamh Lawlor tell and draw you one, if you promise to help! An intimate, interactive story-telling session suitable for a family or class audience (7 – 9 year olds the ideal age group). After the session, time, context, and age group allowing, participants are invited to draw or write a story. Times: 2pm and 4pm. Admission is free but places are limited so pre booking is essential. Our Children's Science Workshops take place in the Explorer Laboratory:Ireland's only Interactive Children's Laboratory! Each day long workshop introduces children to the world of marine life and marine science through exciting experiments and hands-on activities. The Workshop includes studies with microscopes, a beach excursion, tour of Atlantaquaria, and experiments, activities and talk in The Explorer Laboratory and Nautilus Classroom.
