For bank holidays my parents (of kids I mind are off) but they´re still obliged to pay of they would ordinarily be with me on that day X
As for tax, quite a loaded answer, will try keep it short lol
So once you go over the threshold, it´s gone and you´re taxes on it all BUT it´s not a bad thing as a percentage of all your bills goes towards it
Mortgage, rent
Electric
Gas
Tv
Internet
Bins
Etc
You´re probably best to speak with your accountant about it as you can explain your personal employment history (and your partner if you´re taxed together)
I´d be happy to send you my accountants number, he´s based in Celbridge X

Can I ask anyone with experience how do you approach bank holidays? Are you available as per normal Monday? Do you get paid the same rate?
Also if you have experience of going over the threshold for your tax free earnings what happens? Are you better to remain under the limit? TIA
