Maths and numeracy research
Does your child struggle with Maths and numbers?
Have you ever wondered why and what you can do to help?
I am currently conducting PhD research at UCD to try and understand the difficulties children have with numbers and learning to do Maths. I am looking for volunteers to participate in the study. Volunteers should be aged between 7 and 12 years, with no identified specific learning difficulty but who are finding numbers and Maths difficult. Participants will undertake the Dyslexia Screening Test and The Dyscalculia Screening Test and you will receive full feedback on your child´s performance.

My 12 year old son (presently in fifth class) has had desperate problems since starting school. The Educational Psychologist advised that he has a mild general learning disability but nothing more specific than that. Please, please please include him in your study.
