This is all new to me! Can anyone give me a guide on what I should be paying a childminder to look after 2 children (2yr old & 8mth old) in children´s own home 3 days a week (7:30am-6:30pm). Thanks a million

Hi - usual charge is around €5 per hour for 1st child, and about €3 for second child. Hope that helps.

Hi.
Mine have always been minded in the minder´s house but now I need to find someone for Fridays, ideally in our house.
I was told that if I went this route, I´d have to also pay PRSI and such charges. Is this not always the case?

Yes, they are technically your employee when they are in your house, so you have to pay all prsi etc
