Carambola Kidz started as part of a ‘Schools Healthy Eating Pilot Programme’ serving 45 lunches daily. Because we take what we do seriously, we have grown to successfully cater and deliver nutritious lunches to over 20,000 children daily in schools in Limerick, Cork, Clare, Tipperary, Wexford Dublin, Galway and Kildare, Offaly and Kerry. More to come on stream in September and October. To help re-enforce the message about Healthy Eating in a fun way, we created two fun characters, Cara 'n' Bola who travel to schools and have fun, put on plays or simply meet and greet, attend Sports Days, School Openings, and Parades.
